The winter storm of 2009 nine has hit and as I watch the news of all the ice storms and blizzards, I can't help but think about all the kids that are gonna miss a day of school and get to go out and play in the snow.
My kids got a snow day today. They're home snuggled in long pajamas, drinking hot cocoa and preparing for a day in the COLD.
Here are the pictures from my front door:
It's the south AMAZING???
What's the winter blizzard like for you?

LOL!
It actually snowed here in TX before Christmas and I was totally surprised that even though a little snow was still on the ground the next morning, they had school as usual! We missed so much time during Hurricane Ike, that they couldn't afford to take any more!
Enjoy your snow day!!
Hope everyone enjoys the day...
Yeah, I'm with you...the most we get around here is ice. And if there's enough snow for a footprint, the newscasters seem to go into a panic and have a WINTER WEATHER watch that just ticks me off and interrupts "Momma's stories"!
Not fair. We got a lot of snow up here today. Fun times digging out for work. I posted pictures on my page. Have a great day. I'm trying to stay warm.
Now, just keep the damn snow down there and no one will get hurt.
Well, lets see. It snowed twelve inches here in CT and the wind was so bad that it created drifts that are high enough to make sure we won't be able to open our front door without two feet of snow landing in our foyer.
The south IS amazing. Perhaps I should move there!?!
Well, I hate to tell you this but there is no snow in your snow storm!
We got slammed. Again.
Where are you again? I am moving there...
