This weekend, we finally got to have Miss Missy's tea party. A week late, I know, but I couldn't let the year go by without the party of her four year old dreams! Having a daughter has given me an opportunity to enjoy being a girl. She is beyond girly, love dress up and lipgloss and crazy
hair. And I think I had more fun doing the whole party thing than she had.
The party came out wonderful. Pretty much as I had hoped it would. Most of the girls dressed up in their party dresses. And we had one Little Miss in a Cinderella dress.
Sooo Adorable! The girls seemed to have a ball, playing "The Tea Party Game" that my mom had brought for the occasion, watching Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, and coloring. Then it was time for the tea party. The pouring, stirring, and drinking of the strawberry
And the cake, you ask? Yes I made the cake. I actually made the cake, with my own two hands, all by my lonesome! No store bought cupcakes this year! Nooooo, buddy! I even went as far as to make the frosting. Yeah, I mean from powered sugar and butter! Who knew it could be just that simple?!? And ya'll, it turned out perfect! A teapot filled with ice cream!
Now I can't wait to get started on next year's party! Having little girls is a world of fun! The boys never want home parties....
