I'm a planner. I plan ahead for eveything and I'm ready for birthday parties two months ahead of time, down to the last detail. Christmas shopping is done in September and
LIAR LIAR Pants on Fire!
Completly and totally opposite of the truth.
Miss Missy's 4th Birthday is right around the corner. Two weeks away. Her party is planned for Saturday the 18th. Well I guess I shouldn't say "planned" because I this point, it is really just "thought about".
The plan is to have a Tea Party. I think it will be so cute to have some little girls come in all dressed in their cute little party dresses and drink tea, well pink lemonade, with their little pinkies in the air, have a few cookies and cupcakes then lose all their poise and run around the house like crazy hyped up on butter cream frosting and high glucose corn syrup (because you know what that say about that).
So I don't really have this thing planned out and I only have 2 weeks to do it and get my BESTEST MOM award, as I always do when I plan
So the mom over at Tiaras and Tamtrums was nice enough to give me these great website

Don't laugh that hard. I said try!
Well after seeing how adorable The Littlest Petshop cake turned out that she made for her daughter (You GOTTA see it here), I couldn't help myself to thinking, HEY! I CAN DO THAT!
So, in a few weeks, I'll be revealing my culinary or baking skills to you guys. I will be taking picture no matter how it turns out.
And if any of you have ideas for what to do at a 4 year old tea party, please do share!

Well, you're doing better than me! lol My daughter's sweet 16 is next week and I have no clue. By the way, love your blog :-).
Looking forward to seeing those baking skills =). I don't have a suggestion for tea party activities, I said screw it for my daughter's 5th in June and just got a jumper. Yeah, we had a party theme, but the jumper was pure entertainment. I didn't have to do anything but feed them and entertain their parents.
The Princess went to one of these before. There are even some places that will do the whole thing for you. If it was me...I would go for that angle!
But...they wore dresses, gloves, and hats....they drank "tea" (kool-aid) and made crafts. I think she decorated a princess mirror. She loved it.
Good luck!
I can't wait for tea parties! My little girl is still too young! Good luck with your baking. Can't wait to see how cute it looks!!!
lOL -- you're so funny. I wish I had some skills to pass on, but (alas) I am a HORRIBLE party planner. I've only done it once -- daughter's 1st birthday in June. NEVER again . . .until the next birthday.
I'll be watching -- can't wait to see how it turns out!
Sounds like a great idea...my little one turns 4 in Feb so I will be right there with ya trying to plan :) I have no idea but tea party sounds like a great idea!
I don't have any tea party ideas because I am girl-free. BUT I am sure it will be great and I can't wait to see the pictures!
Have a Make-up party...with eye shadow and lipstick..you know...and stuff.... That shiny hair stuff
I dunno...I'm just a stupid guy
We are totally doing a Alice in Wonderland tea party for my 4 year old daughter. (I just posted about it tonight!) I always like to do some sort of craft. It's a little something extra to send home with the goody bags.
